The Story Of Reverence.

Fable Of Reverence (Or FOR for short.) is a single player RPG. Remember those epic classics like Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG? Yeah, it's kind of like those. The game takes place in the really old days. Back when pistols were still being crafted in secrecy by the military. Fun times right? However, this isn't Earth. This planet is called Paragon. It's like a mirror version of Earth. The difference is, in Paragon, most weapons we have today, weren't an option. Things like gun powder didn't exist. However, the people of this world, can harness inner-energy called Magic. You know, like the old fantasy stories? Anyways, just like the old folk lore, this planet is loaded with monsters and dragons and all sorts of danger. So instead of wars among each other, The Parons (Human term for the people of Paragon) spent more time fighting off the creatures that got more stronger, and increased in population every year. You play as Saito, who doesn't have a last name. He's about 17 years old, and never been to war. His parents died when he was just a child, and a man called "Galore" raised him, but Galore disappeared a few years ago when going off to fight the war with the Presages. (The monsters of Paragon.) He doesn't remember much of his childhood until when Galore found him, yet the smell of burning ash still remains as a clue. Saito is usually found in the outskirt forests of his home town, Decree. Training in the forest alone with dual wooden swords. Something most people feel disgusted towards. Saito ends up falling asleep while taking a short break, and has a dream of someone calling out to him, with the sounds of people screaming afterwards. When Saito awakes from the shock of the nightmare, he realizes a giant meteor type fireball heading right into Decree. Colliding and burning everything, Saito rushes out of the forest to the town of Decree.
